If you fancy a change then there are plenty of other ski resorts within an hour of Dachtein West.
Krippenstein is a slightly higher resort. Not many runs but may have more reliable snow. You can use your Dachstein West ski pass here.
Obertauern is a reliable resort, one hour south of Dachstein West.
Ramsau, Planai and Der Dachstein Access to the 3000m dachstein glacier.
Schlaldming is a big world-cup resort.
Filzmoos is closeby.

About the resort
Dachstein West is a little-known ski region in Northern Austria. You'll find it 45 minutes South of Salzburg, set in some of the most dramatic scenery of any ski region in the world.
The resort is made up of 5 towns, linked by 160km of pistes. Futhermore, there are more than 20 resorts within an hour's drive.
